In The Classroom

Teachers!

Want to engage your students in the history of the Civil War?

Want to watch their eyes light up as they interact with history in a whole new way?

Look no further than the Arizona Civil War Council!

The ACWC is a 501(c)3 organization that focuses on Civil War education, reenactments, demonstrations, and living history. We go to many schools, Boy Scout events, and other public places to give talks and living history demonstrations about the Civil War.

Your students will see authentic impressions of Civil War soldiers, learn marching, and get a chance to ask questions that our reenactors are more than happy to answer!

If you're interested in having one or more members visit your school, please contact us.
